Greetings!

Welcome to the Northeast Regional page of the National Black Graduate Student Association! It is with great honor and pleasure that we extend our best wishes to you as the 2012-2013 Northeast Regional Representatives of the National Black Graduate Student Association (NBGSA). 

We look forward to working closely with you to increase our membership and conference attendance, especially for the regional conference to be held this fall. Together we will be preparing for the 2013 national conference to be held in Detroit, Michigan, in March 2013, as well as hosting and organizing the regional conference.

We will ensure constant communication with all chapter presidents and encourage the creation of new chapters in the Northeast region where none exist. The Northeast region proudly represents graduate and professional scholars in the states of Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Remain assured of our full and faithful commitment in representing you, the region, and the National Black Graduate Student Association (NBGSA). We envision a dynamic year, one that will ensure great groundwork for building a tradition of excellence and sustaining the organization for the years to come. We look forward to working with you!
