Welcome to the North Central Regional page of the National Black Graduate Student Association! It is with great honor and pleasure that we extend our best wishes to you as the 2011-2012 North Central Regional Representatives of the National Black Graduate Student Association (NBGSA).

We look forward to working closely with you to increase our membership and conference attendance, especially for the regional conference to be held on November 11-12, 2011, at Minnesota State, Mankato University. Our theme this year will be “Recreating the Environment to Succeeded in the Pan African Community”. Together we will be preparing for the 2012 national conference to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in March 2012, as well as hosting and organizing the regional conference.

We will ensure constant communication with all chapter presidents and encourage the creation of new chapters in the North Central Region where none exist. The North Central region proudly represents graduate and professional scholars in the states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin..

Remain assured of our full and faithful commitment in representing you, the region, and the National Black Graduate Student Association (NBGSA).
