Greetings! On behalf of the leadership of the National Black Graduate Student Association, WELCOME! We are so pleased you have chosen to become part of a dynamic, growing, and impactful organization. As a national organization aiming to serve Black graduate students, our goals are to address the professional needs of Blacks—diasporically—in higher education and offer our members the best resources to ensure matriculation through and success after graduate school. The 2012-2013 Leadership Team, under the leadership of our President, Anta Sane, the 2012-2013 NBGSA Executive Council is planning a fantastic upcoming year for our members and affiliate chapters.

Specifically the 2012-2013 Membership Platform has two key points:
As we continue to grow as an organization, I encourage you to take full advantage of the numerous opportunities we have to offer. Now that you have a glimpse into the organization, its goals, and visions, it is time for you to get involved, remain active, and inform others about this growing organization.
In Your Service,
Vice President for Membership Affairs
