William Lawson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
The William Lawson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded to three outstanding NBGSA members. This scholarship is based on NBGSA involvment, university and community involvement, and academic excellence. To apply you must,
- be a member of the NBGSA;
- be entering or pursuing a Masters, Doctoral or Professional degree in the fall;
- give NBGSA permission to use photos of you taken at the conference, on website, in publication, etc.;
- be a U.S. citizen;
- have a 3.00 GPA or higher;
- be able to attend the national conference; and
- submit ONE complete packet which should include: application, 3 recommendation letters, Official transcript(s), and a page essay on this years' national theme: Engaged, Empowered, Expect It.
